The Engraved Rocks of Carapa (Roches Gravées de la Carapa), rediscovered in 1992, is the largest set of rock carvings discovered in French Guiana. The site, a historical monument since the 18th of November 1993, brings together polishers and rock carvings. There are nearly 250 engravings that cover the rock mass.
