Genazzano, is a town in the province of Rome, starting from the Monti Prenestini, ends on the Sacco River valley. In the 11th century it was a fief of the Colonna family who, from their Baronal Palace, controlled the road from Naples to Rome. It is the birthplace of Pope Martin V (Oddone Colonna). The Ninfeo Bramante (Bramante Nymphaeum) is situated on what was the Old Garden of the castle.
